Modified Fisher scale | Radiology Reference Article - Radiopaedia.org
2024年7月31日 · The modified Fisher scale is a method for radiological grading subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) secondary to intracranial aneurysm rupture, assessed on the first non-contrast CT. It was modified from the original Fisher scale in 2006 1 to account for patients with thick cisternal blood and concomitant intraventricular hemorrhage.
Modified Fisher Grading Scale for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) - MDCalc
States severity of SAH based on amount and type of blood on CT with associated vasospasm risk. This scale only applies to aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). Thin SAH is classified as < 1mm in depth. Thick SAH is classified as ≥ 1mm in depth.
Fisher Grading Scale for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) - MDCalc
Rates risk of vasospasm in aSAH based on amount and distribution of blood on CT. This scale only applies to aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). We recommend using the Modified Fisher Grading Scale based on more recent studies. Clinician must be able to identify subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and major neuroanatomical landmarks on head CT.

2015年6月30日 · Grade 4, which represents a range of GCS scores between 7 and 12, includes a group of patients who may have widely different outcomes. Another method of scoring SAH severity (with implications for vasospasm) is the Fisher scale, which was introduced in 1980. Essentially, this scale relates the amount of blood to the risk of vasospasm.
