2014年2月12日 · I was watching HGTV and saw a show about Port Charlotte, probably with another 2 million people or so.. Curious, I started doing some searching and reading. There are quite a few homes for under $300k, some as low as $150k on salt canals with pools that look pretty nice via pictures and appear to have decent access to open water.

The only catch was we had to buy some land and move the house to another lot and restore it. HGTV was doing a show about moving houses. They chose our house move for one of their episodes.
