2011年5月24日 · When I connect the XBox 360 HD drive to my computer running Windows 7 Home Premium, I am able to run regular DVDs, but if I put an HD DVD in, I het a message from Windows Media Center saying: Cannot Play Disk: To play this DVD, you must first install a play back application that supports HD DVD.

2020年5月7日 · HD DVD was a terrible on essentially every level, and you can buy Blu-rays of almost all the titles that are better, sometimes for a few dollars. Vudu has an excellent disc to digital program that sounds like it would address your issues for only 2 dollars a movie.

2019年9月15日 · I'm guessing you are one of the very few people who still has any kind of HD DVD collection around and it's probably not worth it for Microsoft to spend time and money on the code to support the 360 HD DVD drive if they haven't done it since the XBO released. Easiest way is probably to buy a cheap 360 and hook it up to that.

2015年2月14日 · When I plug my HD DVD drive into it using all of the same cabling that it came with and now the acting light, on the eject button, just blinks very fast. It will play DVD movies, but not HD DVD ones, nor does the memory show up under storage as it had before.

2011年9月10日 · I still have my HD DVD player hooked up to one of my 360s. It just e74'd after 4 years! I can't find the disc to install it on my other 360. Can I download the software somewhere? I know HD DVD is dead but I didn't feel the need to get rid of the player or discs I bought. I'm going to exhaust every option before I trash it. Any help would be great.

2021年6月13日 · So my lens cleaner just arrived and the HD DVD player wouldn't recognize the disc, just as it was an HD DVD. It still recognizes regular DVDs but it doesn't recognize audio CDs either. Is that a sign the lens has completely gone?
