HAMR Test Data Breakdown : r/AirForce - Reddit
2022年1月19日 · Saw u/El-Justiciero post with the HAMR test second counter the other day and decided to break down some of the data. Broke down each level, rep/lap, seconds per beep, meters per second, MPH, kilometers per hour and minutes/seconds per 1.5 mile run. This data is objectively useless, but helps put the run speed needed for the HAMR Test into ...
I'm about to run the HAMR : r/AirForce - Reddit
2023年7月13日 · HAMR Verdict. The hype is real, the HAMR is my new go to cardio component. The first three levels were relatively easy. I started feeling a little gassed at level 5. Level 5-1 to 6-4 were a little tough, but waaaaaayy better than the 1.5 mile run. If you're in the 35-40 category, the HAMR is a no brainer. Give it a try.
HAMR run? Is it hard? : r/AirForce - Reddit
The total amount of time you run for passing on the HAMR is nearly half of what the 1.5 mile run time would be. But, and I cannot stress this enough, you must practice the HAMR before doing it. It is a completely different test than the run and you need to understand the rhythm or you will gas out insanely quick.
How are you training for the HAMR Shuttles PT Test? : r/AirForce
I practice it once or twice a month just to make sure my timing is down. Normal training I’ll start with a 1-1.5 mile run then do a mix of intervals to mimic being fatigued and having to sprint. Alternate days I’ll do a slow 2-3 mile run or ride the bike, hit the rowing machine at …
HAMR Run : r/AirForce - Reddit
2022年3月29日 · Did the HAMR last week. I usually run in the low 13s. After maxing push-ups and sit-ups I felt a little frisky and joined another tester for the HAMR and let me tell you, it goes from cake to crap real fast. Levels 1-3 require little effort, I was more focused on which foot to put on the line at each end rather than beating the beep.
How do you feel about the HAMR run? : r/AirForce - Reddit
2022年12月27日 · The HAMR run is now my favorite component. Getting a passing score with the HAMR is ridiculously easy, and getting a 90-93 isn't much of a struggle. However, if you are trying to get 95+, or if you lose a lot of points on pushups/situps that you would need to "make up" on the run, the HAMR run will not be kind to you.
1.5 Mile vs HAMR Run : r/AirForce - Reddit
2022年6月22日 · Did the HAMR and I prefer it over the 1.5 mile run. It’s all about pacing. Try to get to the line pretty close to when it beeps so you aren’t using more energy than you need to. Look up the 20m HAMR on Spotify or whatever music player you have and practice it a couple times where your fitness center has the HAMR taped off.
Anyone know the exact details on the 20-HAMR (Shuttle Run)?
2021年11月15日 · You run on the beep, and finish before the next beep. You will get a strike for shuttle 31 (which you just completed) because you are two beeps behind. Your test is effectively over, because you can’t complete 32 and 33 because both of their beeps have also passed.
20m HAMR Training : r/AirForce - Reddit
2022年4月28日 · You might prefer this over the 1.5 mile run if you have speed but struggle with distance. To be in the "Low Risk" category for the 25u age bracket you can either complete ~60 shuttles in 7:20 or run a mile and a half 12:15-12:33. 60 shuttles is 1200 meters, which is half the distance of 1.5mi(2400m).
HAMR or 1.5 mile run? : r/AirForce - Reddit
2023年3月8日 · Is the HAMR easier than the 1.5 mile? P.s, I'm not a fatty and my first 6 PT tests before the covid Era were all above a 90, back before they lowered the standards. TLDR; I've been sick on and off for 18 months, the FAQ told me I had longer to test, I don't, is the HAMR easier than the 1.5 mile run?
