H4831 vs H4831sc | Sniper's Hide Forum
2009年11月13日 · Re: H4831 vs H4831sc If you have a look at Jerry Tierney's load data, from the load development he did for his .284 about five years ago, he separated his H4831 loads from H4831sc loads, and found an accuracy difference: minor velocity changes, but large changes in group size for the same charge weight.
6.5Creedmoor/H4831SC | Sniper's Hide Forum
2017年2月11日 · My 6.5 Creedmoor load with H4831SC is 42.5gr with a 140 ELD, Hornady brass, and Fed LR gold medal match primers. This is an accurate load but only 2656fps in my 26" PVA Tikka prefit barrel. I could get .5MOA easily with 5 shot groups, and I also shot some sub MOA 20shot groups rapid fire with it.
H4350 & H4831sc for .308 loads? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2008年6月23日 · Re: H4350 & H4831sc for .308 loads? I would think based on the performance that I have been getting with RL17(burn rate similar to H4350) and 175gr + pills, that H4350 may work similarly. I think you would probably see best results with 185gr. pills and up.
H4831SC in 243 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2004年8月10日 · Looking to replace RE25 as my heavy bullet powder for 243. Temperature sensitivity is wearing me out. I'm sick of replacing broken ejectors, ejector springs, and swollen Lapua brass in the summer. So I bought a jug of H4831SC. Unfortunately, my manual doesnt list a charge weight and...
.338 Lapua and H4831SC | Sniper's Hide Forum
2005年6月10日 · The reason for posting this is not to say, "Look at my groups" but rather that H4831SC is a powder that will work for the 250gr bullets in the .338. Some say that this powder is too fast and they may be right for the gun that they are shooting.
H4831 and H4831SC interchangable? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2011年3月30日 · Re: H4831 and H4831SC interchangable? GT, I use this powder in my 25/06. I used to use H4831 and went to H4831SC. I used the same data from H4831 TO H4831SC and got the same results. Hodgon said that the SC was for better metering through a powder thrower and it would meter better because the kernels were shorter.
6.5 Creedmoor 147 Gr ELD-M. RL16, RL26, H4831SC, H4350 Test …
2017年4月24日 · H4831SC - For some reason you didn't get to max pressure with this load (46g according to Hodgdon), but again POI was consistent, another possible winner. H4350 - 1 grain over max, major POI shift at 41.5, this is where optimal pressure starts. When doing this type of testing, group sizes mean nothing. That can be adjusted with seating depth.
H4831 vs H4831SC "Carolina Load" 6.5CM | Sniper's Hide Forum
2024年11月15日 · Hi all - I was following a recipe for something called a "Carolina Load" for my 6.5CM, except I wanted to use H4831 instead of the H4831SC that was suggested. This is my first time reloading anything, and I don't yet know a lot about various different powders (except from a chart of fast vs...
270 win. H4831sc recipe? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2017年4月16日 · I have a similar load. Running a Steyr in 270 Win for white tail. Using 130gr GameKings / 58.6gr of H4831sc / WLR Primer / Nosler brass. I'm getting just over 2,820 fps and it's usually a .6-7 MOA for 5 shot groups. For that specific rifle, I don't think it can get much better without changing the stock and doing a bunch of other work.
6mm creedmoor w/ h4831sc | Sniper's Hide Forum
2017年2月13日 · Hi all, I just picked up my first 6mm and will be trying h4831sc first with some 105 bergers. If anyone has any experience with this combo or some other bullet combo with h4831sc, I would greatly appreciate the help. I am going to start load work up this weekend, but would also like to know where I should expect some good nodes. Ryan
