Without the armor, he would lack the ability to fight against the stronger apostles like Zodd and Grunbeld. Also, it doesn't help that the armor breaks down the user's soul and body every time it's used. Guts vision going blurry was already hinted at in the chapter Bubbles of Futility and it's only getting worse as this panel shows.

2015年5月16日 · Hey guys, I'm a huge fan of Berserk, and I love all the references to Berserk in Dark Souls, but I've never had the chance, (or know how) to make a Guts build. I'm perry sure someone has asked, or has made one already, so I was just wondering if anyone would help me build one. Hell I'd even take a Golden Age arc Guts as well lol. Thanks in advance!

2022年2月25日 · I'd say the Knight's Cavalry Armor is the one to go for. I know everyone's referring to Blaidd's armour as the "Guts/Berserk" armour but the Knight's Cavalry one matches up with his Berserker Armour a lot better.

2022年5月14日 · The complaint usually revolves around them missing the black swordsman era Guts who was basically just winning the encounters against his foes through sheer will and bloodthirstiness. Usually they will say they don't like the berserker armor bc it betrays the concept of human vs beast bc it gives Guts a "power up".

The heavier your armor, the more Poise and defensive stats you tend to have. If you have at least 51 it's good for most small enemies/armaments in the PvE. More attacks like the various Ashes of War work with hyperarmor to 'poise' through incoming damage, you'll get a few frames of vastly increased Poise during their windups.
