2021年11月26日 · A durable gun cart can be made from lighter weight pine or other softwood, if you know how to do wood joinery and do it properly. I made and use a 4 gun cart made from 3/4"pine that collapses and weighs only about 18# with the ammo box removed. That's with 3/16" thick, 1-1/2" wide steel tread on 18" spoke wheels.

2023年4月18日 · A cart makes carrying your ammo, drinks, lunch plus maybe a jacket or raincoat and a bag for reloadable hulls much easier than hand carrying stuff! We had a lot of snow with muddy bare spots at our first shoot a couple weeks ago. The gun cart made for a great place to keep ammo and your shotgun clean and dry vs setting a shooting bag down.

2017年4月22日 · Thisis the second cart I built. The first one was a 4 gun built out of oak. This one is a 3 gun built out of much lighter wood. The wheels are removeable, but I can fit it in the trunk of my Camaro without removing the wheels.Striped fabric is a removeable bag that I use for empties.

2013年12月8日 · grntitan, that's a great looking cart. Nice work you put into it. Very sharp. The muzzle holders are sweet looking. The wife and kids got me a Rugged Gear 3 gun cart a couple of years ago. Very functional and makes life a lot easier. They are a great shooting tool. They seemed a bit fem at first until I saw a lot of guys using them.

2018年2月2日 · When designing your gun cart, make every effort to make it NOT top heavy. I've seen more than a couple of little red wagons turn over attempting to cross rough terrain. The 1st 2 photographs use a triangle to distribute the weight of the gun cart handles and I have found this to be a very strong design.
