This GTS-R W1 is everything any Holden fan wants to own. The looks, sound and performance are all perfectly matched to one another and are hard to beat as far as collectability goes in the HSV range. Starting with the astonishing Spitfire colour to the ground shaking LS9 supercharged engine this car does not disappoint.

The HSV GTSR W1's engine is a supercharged petrol, 6.2 litre, overhead valve 90 degree V 8 cylinder with 2 valves per cylinder. This unit has an output of 635 bhp (644 PS/474 kW) of power at 6500 rpm, and maximum torque of 815 N·m (601 lb·ft/83.1 kgm) at 3900 rpm. Power is delivered to the wheels by means of a 6 speed manual gearbox.

But to its credit, HSV didn’t just add 5kW and a sticker kit. The intention was to go out with a bang not a whimper and the W1 does that in spades, courtesy of its 474kW LS9 V8.
