Upon starting a new game, the player can choose their character from 4 Teens. The intro sequence reveals that they are the most recent disappearances in a string of potential abductions and otherwise missing teenagers in their town, Brookhollow. In-game, all of them are equipped with a SCA.B on their left hand.

The 4 (5?) kids you can play as are the only kids ever released into the backyard. The other kids never made it outside of the Ominent facility, with the skeletons we see belonging to Ominent employees instead.

Who’s the fifth kid? The case you're in when you get delivered to the yard were originally used inside Ominent Labs to transport the children they kidnapped to different areas of the labs for testing/observation. The case was stolen by two Ominent scientists who were tasked to "dispose" of the children when all the experiments were finished.

2024年1月2日 · There are corpses found around the map in niche little areas. Some are identifiable as research assistants who went insane and wandered off or got involved in an accident. The few that remain are just skeletons with nothing identifying them. Kid #5 could very well be out there, in another yard or even in the house (story-wise of course).
