2017年6月16日 · The FA officer is probably a fire support officer on one of the staffs. It is basically the same way in the regular Army Battalions. There are officers from all Branches assigned to a Infantry Brigade but only the Infantry officers lead platoons and companies.

2023年10月12日 · Every year, SF Branch crunches the numbers and determines how many Officer slots they need filled. It’s something like 150 a year (half of all ODA slots +/- 10%). We know that historically it takes 300 attendees to end up with 150 Q course graduates, so only 300 packets are accepted (for example).

2024年1月10日 · That is the direction my son is working towards he is currently a Yuk. A close friend of mine has a son who is well down the path as a USMA grad. He started as an Infantry officer in the 82nd, then went to the 75 Ranger Reg, completed Green Beret selection, and is currently in the Q Course.
