2009年1月26日 · Angels and Gourami can be a bad combination as the Gourami have tendencies to nip the Angels fins. That said, stuff like rams, apistogramma species and jewels can be homed with Gourami in a decently sized tank - still comes down to the individual fish involved though. Broadly speaking its the fish that decides what it can go with, not us.

2005年7月1日 · My dwarf gourami has developed some open sore's. i have no idea what they could be. He is fine otherwise, not bloated, still eating well, swimming fine, but his poo is white and stringy too. Tank is the 57G as per signature. Stats are: 0/0/10ppm for ammonia/nitrite/nitrate. Ph has dropped recently from 7.0 to 6.4 - not sure why.

2007年4月26日 · I think they do it periodically, so if it's an occasional thing, and there's still a good level of activity, swimming, and searching for food and breathing from the surface, it's fine. I would say if the gourami isn't sleeping, and it's doing for say, longer than a half hour, a water test/change might be in order.

2007年1月8日 · yea so does my gold gourami,it spits water from the back.when i was watching the tank for my other gouramis i saw 2 of my gold gouramis going to the back of the tank where there is a slight hole for airline tubing cango through and they both started spitting water at the same time.it was quite remarkeble to watch these lil fellas in action.

2021年3月11日 · You have 2 species of gourami in the tank and the blue gourami at the back (with the black marks near the tail) will get a lot bigger than the dwarf gourami (red & blue striped). The blue gourami looks like a young female and if it is a female, you might be ok. But if it's a young male, they will fight when the blue one matures.

2007年7月21日 · Gourami are very territorial, I haven't seen any females for sale in a very long time. They aren't as colorful as the males and the fins are a little more rounded. When I add any type of fish to a tank that has a fish that is territorial I will move around the plants and rocks especially around their territory.
