Gonia Monastery (Greek: Μονή Γωνιάς), Monastery of Our Lady of Gonia or Monastery of Panagia Hodegetria (Μονή της Οδηγήτριας) is an Orthodox monastery located 1 km north of Kolymvari and some 26 km from Chania, on the southeast coast of the Rodopos peninsula in Crete, Greece, overlooking the Gulf of Chania.

The Monastery of Gonia (Panagia Odighitria) is located 26 km west of Chania Town and 2,5 km north of Kolimbari, on a hill overlooking the Cretan Sea. The monastery was originally founded around the 14th century by monks from the monastery of Saint George at Menies, which had to be abandoned as a result of the constant pirate raids.

The Monastery Gonia is situated 700 m westawards to the Coastal village Kolymbari. The Monastery was built 1618, it looks like a fort and has a three apse Catholicon church and two chapels. The monastery has been an attraction for numerous monks and hermits and flourished in the last decades of Venetian rule.

This Orthodox monastery is located next to the coast, isolated in a quiet place, well connected by road to Chania and not far from the town. Outside the monastic complex it is easy to park your car because there are not many visitors either.

The monastery of Gonia Odigitria is situated near the village of Kolymbari and is one of the best-preserved monasteries on Crete. From the outside, it looks like a fort and has a three apse Catholicon church and two chapels.
