Our vision is to encourage the shift from fossil fuel-powered to electric vehicles and drive sustainability at Glovo’s core by facilitating the access to electric vehicles for Couriers. Our long term goal is to make low-carbon delivery the default option for partners and customers.

Glovo is a Spain-based, delivery app founded in 2014 by Oscar Pierre, he launched in 2015 with Sacha Michaud following an initial round of funding. Since mid-2022, Glovo has been a part of the Delivery Hero Group, a publicly traded German company.

Glovo and E-Mobility Rentals recently announced the results of a collaborative effort between the two companies, implemented in Bucharest, a first move both for Romania, but also for the European region. Electric vehicles from E-Mobility were used in Glovo's deliveries.
