2022年6月1日 · I just use Invisible Glass cleaner and a microfiber towel. It doesn't scratch the finish, and the glass cleaner doesn't have harsh chemicals which might damage the piano black finish. I've heard of people having a professional install a wrap over the piano black finish to protect it and reduce glare.

2023年1月30日 · It gets on everything so protection and (some) gloss are added to everything - trim, grills, wheel wells, etc. it is more noticeable on cars that aren’t already highly glossy. Final thought: Real sustainable gloss comes from the bottom up.

2023年4月17日 · I'm wanting to wrap my Corvette Targa Top in Gloss black to line up with the rear window... and then also wrap the entire Rear section in the same Gloss black. My question is,, in everyone's personal opinion, that has experience with wraps, what is the best wrap Brand/code#? Factors: Want Extreme Gloss,, Easy to work with,, good glue properties.

2016 Range Rover Evoque with some heavily oxidized trim. I honestly didn’t notice at first that the trim was supposed to be gloss black. I used a Meguiars microfiber cutting pad with P&S Ego Maker for the cutting, and then finished up with a foam pad and P&S Deep Restoration Polish. I definitely surprised myself with this one.

2021年9月7日 · As much as the vloggers hate it, piano black plastic is a good option for regular car interiors . Painted “plastichrome” looks cheap and flakes off over time, fake wood looks like it came off a cheap desk from OfficeMax, fake CF looks like garbage and ages worse, and metal trim is a scratch magnet.

2021年4月9日 · Hope y'all are having a good day! I just purchased a new (to me) Black 2020 Acura TLX. During negotiation - I managed to get the dealership to throw in a free rims repaint. I initially wanted them black, for the complete black-out look. But some friends have suggested gunmetal or even bronze, which does seem like a fun color!

2024年3月31日 · Yeah the shop said to do a PPF it’d cost 6k. I’m kind of leaning towards it..better protection, looks better than vinyl, lasts a LOT longer. I do want to track the car a bit so the extra protection definitely helps and I’m not thinking of selling it anytime soon. BUT I’ve heard black cars are a PAIN IN THE ASS to own.

2019年6月16日 · Self-healing paint protection film installed over the gloss black vinyl. Expensive, but it will last. The vinyl has no clear coat or top coat on it, so it is exposed to scratches and UV damage if the car isn't garage kept. PPF will prevent scratches and protect it from UV damage. Ceramic coating over the vinyl.

2014年2月19日 · Who thought glossy black plastic would be a good idea inside a car? My friend has a Focus ST with a huge section of black oil slick glossy plastic and just looking at it makes my anxiety go through the roof!
