2021年8月11日 · Garmins customer service is exceptional. But after having the spot lock go out repeatedly and having to do all major repairs myself since there’s is no garmin repair center nearby, I had to go back to ultrex. When the force works properly, there is not a better trolling motor out there. I run all garmin graphs and loved the force when it worked.

Garmin GPS Map 1222 from David at Shut up and fish is the best bang for the buck IMO. I’ve seen them all and for crappie fishing nothing else compares to the Garmin.

Batteries last forever with the Garmin force (also running lithiums so not a fair comparison). As of right now, the ultrex is trash compared to the force. 2023年2月7日 · If your wire from the battery to the unit is not 10ga or thicker for a long run thru the boat. Might check voltage at the battery, and then at the unit when it is on. No butt splice connectors, or cheap connectors. Garmin 1222 with LS pulls more than 7A. Depending on the unit you have night change current used. The LS black box uses some juice.

If Lowrance/Garmin was really smart , they would show how a brushless motor compares to brushed motors regarding the actual noise frequency . Every motor ever designed , makes some type of noise. If the "Ghost " model is truly that quiet --- then show the market place the actual measurements taken in the water --- where it counts.

2024年12月24日 · Called Garmin's customer service Tuesday and explained all the troubleshooting I did. Service rep said it was bad but before they could warranty it I needed to update the software (way outdated but worked flawlessly for the last year), also needed to calibrate the compass (never have with this transducer or my old LVS32).
