Which gacha game(s) currently have the best art (still an anime artsyle)? IMO the best by far at least out of the popular ones are Arknights, GBF (has kind of a dated looking UI though), and sdorica. Are there any currently that are on par with or top these? I was just curious to ask though I realize this is a pretty subjective question.

These are only a few examples of how gacha games achieve fantastic examples of character design or how designs may be influenced by themes within gameplay or story. Its not often people share strong character designs within the gacha community, so I would love to see other people's thoughts and examples of great character design in gacha games.

Splash art is great but it's the backgrounds that push it up there. They have a level of detail that would take millions of dollars to do well if the game were 3D. It's also the only mobile game that's made me say "holy shit" out loud at backgrounds for daily content and not setpieces.

Promo art is very different than gacha-integrated art. For one, usually they have the same artist making all the artwork. There's no variance to artstyle which I personally find disappointing. I need more characters like Shamane. 20 years of training in the mountain, magical mechanical arm, shamanic mask, black scleras.. there's so much lore just from the artwork alone.
