The GARMIN GTX 330 transponder provides the U.S. market with datalink expandability, including enabled services such as ADS-B and local traffic updates. This full-featured, TSO certified transponder brings a unique level of functionality and utility to an airplane.

Unlike the "regular" GTX-330 Transponder, the GTX-330ES offers ADS-B Out capability and will meet the 2020 mandate. The GTX-330ES transmits using the 1090 MHz Extended Squitter (1090ES) standard. 1090 MHz Extended Squitter (1090ES) Transmitters are permitted at any altitude and required above 18,000 feet.
