Also, im really scared of putting a bad setting for my GPU, and just break the entire thing. here's my specs: CPU: Intel Core2 Duo CPU RAM: 4,00 GB GPU: GT 740 64x system. i know, it's a pretty outdated pc. but i can't really do anything to upgrade it.

2015年8月14日 · Help with OC of GT 740 My dad ordered me a EVGA GT 740 SC (the one thats 128 Bit, GDDR5,2gb VRAM) and I've been wondering what the safe starting range is. I found one person OC'd it to 1280MHz with no artifacting or glitchiness.

Yeah, I had to mention them because I'm pretty sure there are still people still using such old GPUs (especially GT 210s, plus didn't help that some motherboard manufacturers made nforce 630a based budget FX motherboards with their GeForce 7xxx IGP) and probably stuck with them thanks to the current situation.

2021年5月30日 · Recently picked up an EVGA GT 740 SC 4GB GDDR5 for cheap. I knew the small Kepler dies can clock quite well even with limited voltage. This 740 started quite promising, did almost 1300MHz with stock voltage of just 1.025v. GPU-Z reports ASIC quality at 87,4% which isn't a guarantee, but an indicator it can clock well on air cooling.

2022年7月9日 · The GT 740 is kind of meh, I mean I guess it's useable, but it won't play many current games very well at all. The i3 may bottleneck something like a 550 though at times. The 740 should be noticeable better than the 710, but if you can you should save up if possible.

2021年2月24日 · The GT 710 that did hit 432MHz+ on core clock. The GT 710 that did hit 510MHz+ on core clock. If the benchmarks are correct, these cards outperform GT 730´s using DDR3 VRAM, the one that hit 510MHz+ on the core predates a GT 730 using GDDR5, so, it{s highly possible to get a GT 730 for the price of a GT 710.
