All other times it comes up with an almost blank screen for a few seconds then closes. The GNU Octave (CLI) works fine. I am on Windows 11 Octave version 7.3.0

2023年12月29日 · Using GnuOctave v 8.2 with instrument-control-0.8.0 udp packets longer than 1030bytes work fine. Using GnuOctave v 8.3 or 8.4 with instrument-control-0.9.1 udp packets longer than 1030bytes do not work fine.

2024年11月2日 · Gnulib was updated to a newer version on the default branch of the Octave repository. That will probably be used to eventually release Octave 10.x.

2024年2月5日 · I was trying to run GNU Octave [ version 9.2.0 ] on my system. Xwayland is disabled. I have GNU Octave installed as a flatpak. When I try to run in terminal I get following output : bash-5.2$ flatpak run org.octave.Octave octave: X11 DISPLAY environment variable not set octave: disabling GUI features GNU Octave, version 9.2.0

GNU Octave, version 9.1.90 I cannot reproduce at will, just seems to happen occasionally. Seems most repeatable if I work on something else for awhile and then try to create a new function that I have typed from scratch.
