The K1/1 was originally based at New England and operated services usually operated by K2 s and K3 s. After a number of allocations to the Edinburgh area as well as New England, it moved to Fort William in 1954 where it remained until its withdrawal in June 1961.

2023年5月9日 · What: this is a GNR K1 (Later the LNER Q1) a 0-8-0 tender engine built for long coal trains and nicknamed "Long Toms" (I already have the AU Thomas piece in my folders) 55 of these classes were built in 7 batches, but none of them were preserved to present day.
