May 24, 2016 · Does somebody know can i use Cisco GLC-T module (which is SFP module for copper connections) with SFP+ ports? For example if i will by WS-C3850-12XS (with 12 SPF+ports) will be i able to create 1 Gigabit copper connection? Unfortunately i can no find any disproof or proof about that. Thanks you in advance!

Feb 24, 2017 · As it was mentioned previously, GLC-T is used for copper and GLC-SX-MM is used for fiber multimode, now if you are going to connect 2 switches using SFP's, these SFP's must be the same model. Hope it is useful. :-)
