You can use GCP Google Compute Engines (VM Instance) to deploy Onyx. The steps are very similar to deploying on AWS EC2. Before we get started, make sure you have an account with Google Cloud Platform and have the necessary permissions to create a VM instance.

The primary driver of resource requirements is the size of the indexed documents. This primary effects the index component of Onyx (a Vespa vector database), which is responsible for storing the raw text, embeddings, and handling search requests.

It should just work, the same way as when you run gcloud in terminal. It simplifies configuration for these cases: Deployment on local computer if I am already logged in to GCP
