2008年3月22日 · Thanks! I have a '03 G35 coupe and the trunk wouldn't release. Checked fuses and interestingly enough a fuse was bad, so I replaced it but trunk still wouldn't release. Then read the post about severed wires where rubber boot is on trunk lid and after very close investigation and re-investigation, BINGO! A severed wire!

2016年1月20日 · In my m45 it's on the right side of the trunk garnish. It's the chrome piece above the license plate, and it's a hole within the horizontal surface. So you have to go upwards with the key. A couple of ways to open my trunk: 1. Trunk button on key fob 2. Intelligent key TouchPad on the trunk 3. Switch inside the car 4. Key blade in said hole 5.

2009年10月8日 · My g35 trunk won't open with either the keyfob or the interior switch. I checked the fuse box at the kick panel and the fuselink box next to the battery. All the fuses looked good. I can't locate exactly what fuse because there's no description on the fuse box layout. I temporarily tied a line from the manual trunk opener to inside the cabin.

2005年2月2日 · If you want to cut weight out of the door remove the finisher,window and regulator plate. The center console weights a good 15lbs and the radio has to be ~10lbs. The carpet mat in the trunk is pretty thick and must weight 15-20lbs, plus all the additional stuff in there,tire,tools,and Styrofoam are dense.

2007年12月2日 · Yes most likely your latch is bad,see this at times at my dealer,maybe you can let your rear armrest down and somehow manually release the latch.Make sure if you get it open you dont close the trunk back,may be a good idea to go ahead and get a trunk latch.Have seen one before where something in the trunk got caught in the latch and nothing had to be replaced,maybe you could be so lucky,good luck.

2003年7月9日 · The handle is located on the back side of the trunk lid inside the trunk compart. SEDAN: Access the handle through the interior trunk access hole (rear seat armrest). Return the handle to the original position by securing the latch. Otherwise, it may cause water to leak into the trunk. COUPE: Access the handle from the rear seat.

2007年11月28日 · My G35 6MT trunk lid behaved very strangely. Sometimes it refused to open whether with the switch on the dash near the door, the button next to the tail lights or the remote fob. I tried unplugging the fuse the BCM ( body control module) hoping it reset the BCM that controls the lid, but it didn't help.
