Trailer question for old horse folks | The Horse Forum
2024年4月18日 · In another thread some time ago, @bsms asked what I think was a rhetorical question related to a lot of people saying you really need a 3/4 ton truck or higher to tow a horse trailer. Why are horses used as working animals instead of oxen?
2011年11月5日 · Interesting on those vehicles behind the cattle, having the piece on the outside of the wheels. Used on both wooden (older) wheels and the car tired wagon. Wonder if the purpose is bracing for strength? Those folks look pretty poor, so any animal power has to help in moving things and not costing money for fuel.
Leaving a horse tied for hours? - The Horse Forum
2011年3月24日 · We were miles from the nearest road. His wife took the guys horse and tied him to a tree, while his daughter rode back to their truck, drove all the way back (it took twice as long for her to get back). 2020年4月21日 · My neighbor dropped a tree right across his pickup truck bed one time. And talking about wood. 2019年1月4日 · Yeah, you'd have to upgrade your truck for a trailer like that. FORTUNATELY most of the places we camp now have pull-through parking spots as well as the type you back into, or I'd be forked. My brain won't think 'turn the wheel opposite of the direction you want the trailer to go' - though the goosenecks ARE a lot easier because I can see them.

2012年10月17日 · In the second photo you can see I am draging a shovel, a bucket and a logging chain. We went down the asphalt street to make all kinds of noise, getting ready for parades and crowds. We looked like Stanford and Son's Junk wagon.
