2023年7月11日 · The only reason to put Freya in the front row is if you want to use her for Steiner's "Charge!!" strats, and indeed, Zidane, Freya, and Amarant are the ideal characters to pair with Steiner for that, as Charge!! makes all three trigger their basic attacks on Steiner's turn. Otherwise, Freya should stay in the back.

I personally would love to see a Steiner re-design... possibly an action shot of him holding up his sword using the move Stock or something! I feel like he gets overlooked a lot! He's my favorite character! Once again, amazing work! I hope to see more of these... but You do You!

2020年7月7日 · Freya doesn't have problems dealing with physical attacks and has excellent resistance to magic, but Steiner, while excellent for physical tanking, doesn't like taking magic attacks. Steiner has slightly higher HP, but he will generally lose more and the difference isn't significant by end game or in general for that matter.

2021年6月23日 · Freya was such a wasted character. FF9 could have done much more with her and just dropped her story. Though I think what I hated most was never really knowing wtf Freya and her people were because of the limited graphics and the specific artstyle. Other than their legs and tail, you could never see much of her people in the game.

2023年11月6日 · An ff9 remake wouldn't be ff7 level though, they went above and beyond because its one of gaming's most iconic household names and they wanted to expand an entire world on top of the story and characters. FF9 is much more humble, self contained and had a lot of what 7 and 8 lacked that made people want remakes.

2014年2月10日 · I recently finished FF9 last summer and after trying every character and deciding to stick with Zidane - Quina - Freya - Eiko, I agree this is a fun and dynamic party that won't get you in many tough situations at any point of the game. But, you really can choose whatever party suits your style and you will be successful.

2014年6月22日 · Amarant actually has a really high physical attack that rivals Steiner's in addition to good support spells. Freya also has a great combination of defense, physical attack, and utility. The party has less raw firepower due to the loss of your two mages, but I guarantee you nothing will kill that party.

2018年4月25日 · Freya as a Polearm Paladin, I’m thinking Vengeance Oath might fit a Dragon Knight more? Any oath could pull off freya pretty well tho. Quina as a Druid is great! Thinking Moon Druid, reskinning wildshapes and Druid magic as blue magic is pretty cool. Change into a Giant Toad to represent the Frog Drop Spell work wonderfully.
