2012年9月7日 · Hi, all. After months of lurking, I've decided to give this whole DCS thing a serious try. I put together a FreeTrack rig earlier this week, and can get it up and running in the FreeTrack app itself as well as working fine with ARMA2 and Take On Helicopters, but for the life of me can't seem to make it work with DCS World.

2016年5月25日 · First of all, you're going to need a Freetrack led clip to mount onto your headphones. They can be bought on eBay for around £20, or you can build your own using instructions on the Freetrack website. Then download and run the Freetrack software, plug in a webcam with an IR filter (99% of webcam have these), and you'll be set to go.

2012年4月10日 · I was unsure about building a freetrack setup and about to drop some cash on a TrackIR system, this guide won me over. Using a PS3 Eye and this 3-point build works beautifully @ 120 fps buttery-smooth. Also I didn't have to take out the IR filter in the PS3 eye. It's revolutionized the way I play Black Shark!

2013年11月26日 · Everything on FreeTrack seems to be working properly, though the problems occur when I try to use it in game. Arma just doesn't seem to be detecting it for some reason. Now, if I use FaceTrackNoIR with Point tracker arma sees it (disguised as TrackIR) just fine, and it works. Though, FaceTrackNoIR doesn't work nearly as well as FreeTrack. Any ...

2013年3月26日 · Then again, Freetrack cost you under 10$ to build, so a comparison is kinda moot. I currently use Freetrack and while it has served it purpose for 10$, when it breaks I will be buying TrackIR immediately.

I also recalibrated many times, or increased the thread counts. None of them helped. Here is the freetrack settings. I have played with different interface. That doesn't really matter Accela settings are basic.

2022年7月11日 · I used freetrack for many years and it was fine, but I did find that I was always tweaking settings and never felt I had a 'finished' profile. I also didn't really see why I should buy TrackIR when I had a perfectly reasonable setup for a fraction of the cost.
