2018年1月17日 · The 83-85 Cougar/Bird stock K-members use the durable stud-style engine mounts, same as Mustangs used. The 86-88 Cougar/Bird K-member was changed to use a hydraulic mount, presumably for cushier engine vibration and/or noise dampening for the gray hairs that bought them back then.

2019年7月9日 · I like em just from a pure reliability stand point on the trucks from 99-02. My daily driver is an 02 Silverado 1500 extended cab with a 5.3l and it has 545k miles on the clock. I plan on daily driving this bird, and use the truck as a work vehicle only.

2006年2月20日 · I agree 100%, the reason that fox tbirds/cougars are in such bad condition is that people dont see them as sports cars or hot rods, but for what they are, daily drivers.
