May 31, 2014 · yes it is a intermittent fault when the leads are in the correct sockets for the measurement selection and i rarely take mA or A measurement through my leads in those sockets. I use a i200s for current. It has only ever happened to me when the leads are plugged into the com and v sockets and seems to starts as soon as the meter is turned on.

Dec 1, 2023 · Because as best I can tell, Fluke doesn’t make any 3m multimeter leads, just 1.5m. (They sell the TL221 straight leads that come with couplers to extend existing leads.) However, there is the TL1550B test lead set intended for their megohm meters.

Jan 5, 2024 · Especially as replacements to the now-crappy TL75 leads that Fluke ships now. The Brymen leads are excellent, and an outstanding value at ~$10 a set. I also have several sets of cheap Chinese leads that cost <$5 that are surprisingly good.

Absolute Best MultiMeter Test Leads - Very Low Resistance?
Jan 2, 2024 · The fluke TL175 test leads I normally use for everyday testing always seem to have 0.5 ohm resistance reading. I’ve tired cleaning the test leads and meter connection ports but it makes little difference. I have even tested a set of brand new fluke TL175 lead and the have about the same resistance. I tested them both on a Fluke 87v and 289.

Jul 26, 2018 · Looking into possibly purchasing a Fluke 8840a. The guy is selling it “as is.” It does power up but without any leads connected, it shows a voltage of about 2.5v. Are these easily calibrated by the user or does it need to be sent in to Fluke? I am hoping this is the only issue but I really have no way of knowing.
