Dark purple skin and red flesh richly flavored and bursting with juice is what makes the Flavorosa one of the most popular members of the plum family. While very good when eaten out of hand, cooking smoothes out the difference between the tart skin and the sweet flesh.

A dark-skinned pluot with dark-red flesh, the Flavorosa Pluot has an intensely rich flavor combined with sweet, spicy tones that are reminiscent of the Santa Rosa, similar to the Flavor King Pluots.

2016年2月16日 · Just acquired a Flavorosa Pluot. DWN gives Flavorosa Pluot pollinators as Emerald Drop Pluot® or Mariposa plum, neither of which I have. I do have Burgundy, Satsuma and Santa Rosa plums, and FK,FQ, FS, Spash and Flavor Genade Pluots. Should I get the pollinators specified by DWN?
