2019年2月25日 · The poo on some fish appears to be white & stringy, like a thin thread of cotton. (Hopefully I have attached pictures). The fish that are poorly, they tend not to poo due to not eating. They appear to be sucking the algae off plants. I have studied fish and cannot see any red sticking out. Tank is 90 litres. All Platy fish - approx 17 fish

2019年2月6日 · Filter not cleaned often enough (the brown goo is uneaten food, fish poo etc which is broken down to ammonia then on to nitrate) I don't think I am over stocked. It's a 54l tank and I have 2 honey gouramies, 4 platies and 3 guppies.

2017年12月13日 · the fish dont poo at all I use to keep it along with few other fishes and it had fancy stones in the tank. Since these changes begun i have kept him separate and removed all the stones and other fishes and i never used sands. only small stones. which is removed completely now.

Well just now I noticed Cat has what i can only describe as a tyre like thick poo around jim, with a stringy poo also attached.

2014年10月14日 · Whitespot looks as though the fish have been sprinkled with salt, although it does take a few days for the spots to become visible. There is also a parasite called velvet where the fish has a golden sheen. The easiest way to see this is to wait till it's dark then shine a torch on the fish.
