2024年10月20日 · Found fish at Key Ranch and Merimac Point catching 41 whites, 3 legal hybrids, 2 short hybrids, and 2 yellow bass. Tried several lures and the best were Mepps#4, small chartreuse BoBlade, and the larger Panther Martin spinner. Fish are still in 10 to 17 fow, so best to cast to them and work back to boat along the bottom.

2025年2月2日 · Those lines are feeding fish destroying the bait ! SI prompts the angler to zig zag from right to left . If fish are spotted on the right go right till fish are on both sides of the screen, left go left, straighten out and proceed at desired speed. Fish will attack when turning if they are close, predation reflect reaction.

2024年12月4日 · The vast majority were large white bass. We also caught 3 hybrids - 2 legal - and Graham caught a 21-inch 6 lb black bass. Fish are on both shallow (12 to 18 fow) and deep (20 t0 25 fow) structures, which included Long Ridge West, 3-Jug Hump, Merimac Point, Iron Wall Hump, Greenhouse Ridge, Birdhouse Point, and Number 13 Hump.

2024年12月21日 · The fish were on structure in 19 to 24 fow. The best lure was a Mepps #4 silver. I caught most straight down but also caught some casting and retrieving in a saw tooth pattern. I tested several other lures, and a small yellow or white BoBlade also caught fish. I tried dead-sticking for a while but only caught 4 whites and a yellow bass.

2025年2月21日 · If he fishes as shallow as I've heard he does it would be totally useless anyway. If the fish are that shallow and he gets on them FFS isn't going to do a lot for the guys that use it to beat him. He'd have to go to the deeper fish as well to use it. Changing up to deep fish would probably require him to learn or relearn new tactics.

2024年11月22日 · Went to Wolf near the Thumb and caught a bunch more. Next to Propeller but didn't see much. Caught bunches at Tallman, Sun South, and Sun West then went back to Wolf to finish up, The best lure was a Mepps #4 silver blade, but also caught some on Panther Martin, and blade baits. Biting fish were in 10 to 20 fow.

2024年3月28日 · I lose 1 or 2 rigs per trip doing it that way due to hang ups, but I catch 5 times more fish bouncing it off bottom rather than playing it safe and trolling deep water where the rig never touches the bottom. That rig usually trolls 25ft - 35ft deep. I have tried chartreuse on Whitney, but white always produces more fish for me.
