Why are Messenger video/voice calls not available on Firefox?
Ever since Facebook put end-to-end encryption, Messenger calls just broke down for Firefox on Desktop. I can't do anything other than text chat and it forces me to either download the app or go to Edge or Chrome for voice/video calls. Even on Messenger's support page, it says it doesn't support Firefox. I wonder why.

You mus open Facebook, go to Options/settings and in the left panel scroll until "VIDEOS" click on it. Than in the right panel "UNCHECK" H.D. video quality (by default) and Choose: "STANDARD QUALITY ONLY" .Voilà.

2024年6月6日 · Facebook is claiming that Firefox isn't capable of E2EE, at least the way that they use it for video/audio chats. Calls used to work because E2EE just started in the last few months. Calls still working with some people is because THOSE chats haven't been infected with this yet.
