TVF&R is now accepting applications for Portland Metro Fire Camp coming June 20, 21, and 22 at our Training Center. The camp is designed to instill confidence while building leadership and team skills in young women ages 16 to 22.

This free fire camp will take place June 20, 21, and 22 at TVF&R’s Training Center at 12400 SW Tonquin Road in Sherwood. The deadline to apply is May 12 at midnight, and TVF&R will select as many as 50 participants.

June 20-22, 2025 - Portland Metro Fire Camp Applications are open! This special weekend is designed for young women interested in learning more about a firefighter career.

The Lake Oswego Fire Department is hosting its second annual Fire Camp on July 25th - 27th, 2025. Participants will receive instruction from our very own firefighters on basic fireground operations, including hose and ladder skills, auto extrication, boat operations, and more.

This community-based volunteer program partners with organizations like the Tigard Police Department, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, and more to provide meaningful safety instruction in a fun environment.

Our 2025 Summer Day Camp registration opens Monday, April 14 at Noon (Tigard Residents) and 1 PM (Non-Tigard Residents). Find Your Fun!
