The Ferox is a Creature in ARK: Survival Evolved 's Expansion Pack Genesis: Part 1. The Ferox will approach the survivor when it senses one nearby on foot. It makes a sniffing gesture towards the survivor and if they do not carry any element with them, it flees, sometimes returning to follow.

Get a desmodus, pick up the ferox, and bring it to the indoor castle nearby. You can just cling to ceiling and come down and feed. Super easy taming on fjordur.

Are current theory is because of the high level creature spawns in the cave, it somehow made the ferox that level too. Weirdly it spawned kinda outside the entrance of the cave.
