2016年5月31日 · My bike runs best on 87. It also runs best on ethanol free. The problem is that until 2 weeks ago, there was no 87 ethanol free around here...the only 100% gas was 93. We finally have a station carrying 87 octane no ethanol gas and my bike has never run so well. I think I just rolled over 34k too!

2007年3月26日 · the FZ6 user manual I downloaded states "your yamaha engine has been designed to use regular unleaded gasoline with a pump octane of 86 or higher, or a research octane number of 91 or higher." this is on page 3-9 bottom center btw. FYI Octane is a measure of the fuels RESISTANCE to igniting via additive to the fuel.

2023年7月29日 · I’m currently trying to find a gas cap replacement because my current one is a bit damaged and also leaks if the bike is tipped over. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a new cap (oem or keyless) with a new gasket as well.
