2009年4月15日 · The FNP-40 is a great gun. It is an accurate and flawlessly functioning (with the correct magazine followers) firearm. In the two hundred or so rounds I fired through the gun I encountered no additional issues besides the slide lock failure which was corrected by swapping out the magazine followers.

2010年2月12日 · Most manufacturers do a prettty decent job of supporting obsolete product. I wonder how long FN will support the now obsolete FNP line? This is one reason I have always felt comfortable with a 1911. It's the small block chevy of the gun world. I don't see getting FNP parts from someplace like Numrich or others in 15 or so years. I could be wrong.

The FNX-45 will come with 3 magazines (new design and not compatible with the FNP), all 3 will be 15 round like the current Tactical and Competition. The pricing should be similar to the FNP-45."

2012年1月25日 · My FNP-9 always goes to SA after I pull the trigger and the gun goes bang, no matter how slow the trigger is pull (in other words, what the gun shop told is B.S.). The only other time I've heard of similar issues, the gun needed to be fixed. Not having the gun in hand, I really can't say what could be wrong with it or what exactly the issue is.

2014年1月13日 · The grip texture is very aggressive on the FNS and I like it better than the FNP. I added the Guntape to the FNPs grip and it make a big difference without resorting to stippling. There is a significant difference in slide width as you can see that the FNS9 is narrower than the FNP9. Lengths are similar with the FNP being more rounded.
