I will tell you that I ran all the trails at FJ Summit 8 (2014) in Ouray, CO, in my completely Stock '14 FJ including the Wrangler GSA "street" tires that came with it. The FJ has the Best 4WD/AWD system Toyota has ever made and performs amazingly well without any modifications.

That being said, what’s the best 33 inch tires for all weather/all terrain. I currently have 31 inch BF Goodrich KO2s and I usually tend to stick to forest service and logging roads out in washington.

2021年1月15日 · Much like you, my FJ sees street and highway driving, and I have Kumho AT51 tires on them. It's an all-terrain tire that actually feels really good on the highway. They're not as heavy as the more popular BFG KO2's, which will help with MPGs, they still have an aggressive looking tread pattern but it's still a fairly quiet ride.

2007年6月14日 · 33's will fit a non-lifted FJ because they fit on a lifted FJ. No current suspension that I've seen (except maybe Total Chaos Long Travel) changes the point at which the suspension bottoms out or any other geometry. Which means that the tire will still end up at the same point in all cases...lifted or not.

2012年10月8日 · E are not necessary for the FJ. A C-rated tire is actually a better match, but most of the tires in the sizes we'd like are Ds. Even a heavy loaded FJ doesn't "need" a D rated tire. You could tow the max capacity of the FJ at max tongue weight and you still wouldn't be close to needing E-rated tires

2019年8月22日 · The Yokohama Geolandar G015 tires are a solid choice depending on what you are looking for in your next tire. I ran them on my FJ Cruiser and even did the trails at the FJ Summit including Black Bear and Imogene without any trouble. I even pulled a 2 WD FJ up the last few miles on Imogene with ease.
