2016年1月17日 · I'm interested in building an 818, but wanted to do something a little differently. Has anyone successfully put other engines in the 818. Maybe a ford V6 or whatever? I looked on the FFR web site, doesn't look like it's been updated recently. There still Langdon there about the 818 prototype? Brad FFR 8249

Truthfully though, when it comes to the 818, you would do better to register over on the other ("official") FFR forum, where that model is much more heavily discussed. As you can see, the 818 model only draws a post or two a month over here. Cheers, John

These kits replace the generic corrugated hose with mandrel bent tubing specifically designed for your 818. p/n 70707 connects the Subaru engine to the FFR side tubes. It includes 2 mandrel bent and beaded aluminum tubes, 4 coupler hoses and 8 hose clamps for 14 pieces total.

2015年9月9日 · I've been on track with a 320hp 818rR I was riding in a friends 550hp +Mk3 FFR Roadster. The 818 is way faster in the corners, about even on the straights. The 818 was in the top 5-10 lap times of the day. It's the cornering ability that really sets it apart. Lapping the track it looks like it could take corners at any speed you could dare it to.
