FET-10G vs. SFP-10G-SR - Cisco Community
2013年8月2日 · The connections are up using a FET-10G and a SFP-10G-SR. I just thought to use best practices you need to have the same transceivers on both ends. I also agree on what you said about stability of the connection. Good info!!!! Thanks Gregory.
Connectors: Dual LC/PC connector (-SR, -LRM, -LR, -ER, -ZR and FET-10G). Note: Only connections with patch cords with PC or UPC connectors are supported. Patch cords with APC
Cisco FET-10G The Cisco FET-10G Fabric Extender Transceiver support link lengths up to 100m on laser-optimized OM3 multimode fiber. It is supported on fabric links only from a Nexus 2000 to a Cisco parent switch. Note this product is not orderable invididually. For more information refer to Nexus 2000 datasheet:
Difference between FTE-10G and SFP-10G-SR - Cisco Community

Solved: FET-40G to FET-10G Interconnects - Cisco Community
2014年1月12日 · I am looking at a deployment of a Nexus 6004 and 6001 with FEX 2232TM-E between the racks in our DC enviroment and have come up against a bit of a problem in that I don't seem to be able to find out what cables I need to use to connect the FET-40G on the 6k's to the 4 x FET-10G's in the FEXs to give the full 40Gb to the FEX's.
Passive cable to connect FET-40G and FET-10G - Cisco Community
2016年2月4日 · They would install the FET-40G in the uplinks of Nexus C2348 and then install the FET-10G to the parent switch. They would then have to buy a MPO breakout cable like - MPO to 4 x SFP LC for a third party vendor. The FET-10G is only supported in the uplink ports if it’s used with the CVR-QSFP-SFP10G as adapter.
FET-40G to 4 by FET-10G from C5548 to C2348UPQ switches
2015年8月25日 · The FET-10G GBIC's appear to be the standard LC connectors. Our initial cabling, as bought, seems to be a 12 pin configuration splitting the 12 pins, from the outside in pairs, inward. The obvious mismatch between QSFP+-to-4xSFP+ SR cable and the FET40G-to-4xFET-10G cable required means we can't connect our uplinks from the C2348's to C5548's.
FEX FET-40G vs chassis FET-10G connections - Cisco Community
2018年1月26日 · Hi, I'm looking for an answer how to attach a 40Gbps FEX (let's say N2K-C2348TQ) to a 10Gbps Nexus chassis (let's say N77-F348XP-23 in a 7706 chassis, running 7.3(1)D1(1)). The 7706 only has 10Gbps linecards, no 40GBASE interfaces. I see 2 options: using FET-40G in the FEX towards 4x FET-10G in...

2018年5月24日 · More information . We are connecting the 5548UP to a 2242 and to a 2232 FEX.
Solved: Nexus 2232 - sfpInvalid - Cisco Community
2013年7月4日 · Your post states that you're getting sfpInvalid when you insert a FET (Fabric Extender Transceiver) into a Nexus 2232 and you then posted the output of the sh int eth 115/1/5 transceiver details which indeed shows a FET inserted in that port.
