2023年10月11日 · Wouldn't recommend either for drifting. Owned an FC for 5 years and learned pretty quickly that the FC is a great sport chassis that doesn't want to kick out. That near 50/50 weight distro and low polar movement keep it nice and planted in corners. Couple that with a distinct lack of torque.

The SA22C is the same as an FB. You have 3 generations of RX7 and 8 series each containing many different editions. FB 1979-1985 (series 1-3) FC 1985-1991 (series 4-5) FD 1991-2002 (series 6-8) As mentioned there are many sub models for each generation.

The only problem is that a non-turbo FC is not as fast / fun to drive as its turbo variants (FD or FC). 2024年5月26日 · I have a 1987 Rx7 FC, and it won't start. I've tried a couple of different things to start it, such as spraying starting fluid into the intake and changing the plugs. Still no start. It cranks well, the fuel pump pumps fuel and I hear the injectors working.

I prefer the FC, I think it's more accessible and the looks appeal to me more than the FD, even though I admit at least the FD isn't a blatant rip off of any car like the FC is a 944 copy. My attainable dream car is an rx-7 FC, but I rarely hear about their handling.

The second FC issue is the mechanical problems the car generates over time. The rotary engine is very reliable, but if it isn't maintained properly it can lead to severe problems. 2019年10月27日 · Im definitely having a moment of wishing I had just gone with the tried and true Miata, equipped with something I know (piston engines), But I love this RX7 and the rotary way more. Im just struggling to find any beginners performance information that isnt "Throw a CAI and exhaust on it and youre done".

2022年7月10日 · Yeah I have ksport coilovers, poly bushings, turbo brakes, ebc pads, k sport rotors, stainless brake lines, stage 3 action clutch, aasco motorsports 9 lb flywheel, built and heavily ported NA motor to be boosted soon to an easy 350 whp, rear steer delete, koyorad, racing beat parts + tons of maintenance.
