Sep 13, 2002 · The main differences are one is a thoroughbred (F5B) and one is a workhorse (hotliner). The F5B planes (F5B open class, F5B 10 cell, or F5F, and F5B 7 cell) have to follow stringent size (combined wing and tail area) and battery weight restrictions (possibly total weight too...?) and may be put obsolete when these rules change.

Pulling less than 40 amps at full throttle and turning the prop 10,000 rpm, the power system is hardly working but it pulls the Tiger straight up like a rocket.
