ON my keyboard it's a little padlock icon on the ESC button: Hit "Fn - ESC" and it will toggle and the home and end keys will work. There is a setting in the BIOS that may help, hold the shift key down while clicking restart and choose BIOS, Once in the BIOS choose the "advanced tab" and then look for function key behavior, toggle the settings listed and see if any setting helps.
