FAAS at EY : r/Accounting - Reddit
2023年3月13日 · Spent 2 years in FAAS, on as a senior and one as a manager. Would recommend getting audit experience before joining FAAS, but it’s a great offering It’s more focused on technical accounting, M&A, non-standard transactions (complicated debt and equity financings), complex rev rec, etc.
EY FAAS Senior Salary : r/Accounting - Reddit
2022年7月20日 · I worked in FAAS and it was miserable. I made almost the same that I did in audit despite working on much more challenging and demanding projects. CMAAS treats their people better and since they’re considered part of the transactions group they make a 15-20% premium over audit plus 5-10% if you’re coming from another firm, and their bonuses ...

2018年9月17日 · CMAAS and FAAS are the same service line, Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) and do the same work. There's a variety of work that AAS does. It ranges from accounting change (e.g. rev rec, ASC 842) and helping clients transition into new standards to transaction based work such as accounting for carve outs, acquisitions, and IPO's.
EY FAAS/Consulting vs Auditing : r/Accounting - Reddit
2023年3月7日 · Most of the FAAS work will be very heavy on accounting, you likely won’t be doing much finance type work. Consulting work (eg management consulting) is separate from advisory at EY. Additionally, FAAS technically sits under assurance which just means there is more risk management documentation you need to do.
EY FAAS or Big 4 Audit : r/Accounting - Reddit
2021年5月27日 · Probably ey faas should be better.. the work is advisory, so its typically better and engagements are more aligned to what deal advisory is. I work in RSMs version of ey faas, and its nice because the hours aren't as crazy as audit or deal advisory (they're more spread out throughout the year)
EY(FAAS) or PWC (Audit) ? : r/Big4 - Reddit
2022年3月25日 · I recruited with FAAS, AAS, CMAAS a few months ago after doing a year in audit at EY. From what I gathered (this is for Southern California fyi) FAAS pays the least, they have the reputation as the worst accounting advisory practice AAS and CMAAS have the best clients in my region as well You get to work on more transactions and stuff like capital markets readiness while faas is more of a ...
FAAS or TAAG? : r/Big4 - Reddit
2022年4月21日 · Does anyone here work in FAAS or TAAG at EY? I have an interview upcoming and wanted to hear from someone their experience in the field, as well what compensation is like for a SA 3. I currently work in Internal Audit at another firm and am trying to transition into Accounting Advisory. Any help would be great. Thank you!
EY Audit vs FAAS 2023 : r/Big4 - Reddit
2023年2月16日 · Faas is sexier on a resume. Hours will likely be slightly better in the net if similar to KPMG’s version of faas. Slightly different experience as faas will be more technical and audit will help you understand processes better. Overall faas is better in my opinion, but job stability will be better in audit. Always need an audit.
EY FAAS vs. Audit - Are the hours really better? : r/Big4 - Reddit
2021年10月6日 · This is a great point. When I was asking about FAAS I got the sense that would be the case from a Partner. Basically sounds like you’re setting yourself up to work more since even if FAAS isn’t quite during busy season, you’ll get called in for extra hands on audit.
