As far as loot RNG, if you do enough content, you normalize everything and RNG is no longer an issue.

Once the gear reaches T3 it can be awakened to become Haram gear when you have set all 3 core stats. From that point you just fuse it with other Haram gear to grade it up to arcane / mythic etc. That’s the “end game” item since it’s basically your own custom mythic item.

2024年6月27日 · Some world quests are rewarding explorer gear this week. By the fountain in Valdrakken a quest called Last Hurrah that will give you a bag with a 493 item for doing 3 world events. This is a weekly quest. When you have enough gear go into the group finder and spam run Timewalking Dungeons. They will reward excellent gear for you.

That still doesn't change the fact u could spam 2s for gear which was boring and tedious, once you add some brackets to gear to change that it's pretty much the new system, this one just rewards more activities, sure could be simpler but it's not really complex either, and systems in games are fun, this is just having more options.

2023年3月9日 · Personally, I think the item “tiers” (explorer, hero, etc.) are unnecessary as crests function as a content gate. It also cuts down on targeted gear acquisition, since running a specific +2 to get, say, Blazebinder’s Hoof is more feasible as compared to running +16’s. The item acquisition is already non-deterministic through random drops.

2023年11月10日 · The new gear from the Dream quests is on one of the new upgrade tracks that’s in my chart (Explorer, Adventurer, etc). That gear can be upgraded and can help you get a higher ilvl. Normal and Heroic dungeons usually only help you gear up at the beginning of an expansion. Now you can do weekly world content to get up to LFR requirements.
