Yes, the ESP32 is communicating with the RTL8201F ok. If I deliberately do not enable it at boot then I get an error, as expected. It also sends connected/disconnected events when the Ethernet cable is plugged/unplugged. The cable has been tested with another device and works fine.

2022年5月30日 · Esp32 chip has an Ethernet MAC interface implementation. You need a PHY implementation to get to/from e.g. 100baseT. Many manufacturers (including Espressif) make and sell boards, some PoE. ESP-IDF has good support for this. If you're controlling your own source, there's zero danger of accidentally turning on WiFi.
