Blooms in a cone of several small flowers, with a fragrance akin to Vanilla. Typically blooms in the summer. Care: Grow diffused light and high humidity, with good air circulation. No direct sun. Plants should be kept evenly moist. (We grow ours in shady spot of the Vanda house, where they get daily water in the summer.

Eria ornata is found from 1000 feet to 5000 feet elevations through out South East Asia from hot to cool temps and shady growing conditions and requires high humidity, never drying out.
