Enel, the one piece lightning guy, wields the power of the Goro Goro no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit. This power enables him to generate, manipulate, and become lightning. He can execute various lightning-based attacks and even become intangible, allowing attacks to pass through him unless they involve Haki or Seastone.

After his defeat by Luffy, Enel heads off to Fairy Vearth, which turns out to be the Moon. Here Enel encounters a group of small robots known as automata, as well as a vicious group of Space Pirates.

Enel can use Maxim to create massive lightning storms via a combination of chemical vats that produce storms clouds and his own lightning abilities. One of these thunderbolts is enough to burn down an entire village, and Enel can create a giant thundercloud that can destroy an entire island.

Enel is a major antagonist in the anime/manga series, One Piece. He is the tyrannical former "God" of Skypiea who, after his defeat by the Straw Hat Pirates, arrived at the moon on the Maxim and became its new ruler. He is the archenemy of Gan Fall and Wyper.

In the series of cover stories, Eneru is shown landing on the moon, defeating a space captain, finding an ancient moon city, and reviving robots for his army. This would be one of the six moons that are supposedly around the One Piece world.
