1978 Electra Les Paul - Info and Value? | Page 2 - The Gear Page
2012年11月9日 · 70's Arias strayed the furthest from doing out-and-out Les Paul copies - their headstock shape and sometimes knob layout was unique for their set neck guitars, and their "bookmatched" Gibson style headstocks usually went on their cheap, bolt-on neck guitars (the cheapest had plywood and...
NGD- My Les Paul Copy Let Me Show You It - The Gear Page
2018年4月22日 · About a month ago a bass player who I hadn't seen for awhile came to where I was playing music. On break he told me that he just got an electric upright bass. Then he told me what he traded to the music store for it. He mentioned a Squier bass, a Bradley, and something else. I asked him what...
NGD: Jackson Stars DK505 - The Gear Page
2022年10月4日 · I've been eyeballing this one for about a week (pending sale of my Electra Les Paul), and since the shop is local I went over and tried it out, and I dug it, so here it is. A Jackson Stars DK505. I wasn't sure what a 'Jackson Stars' was, so I went looking. Turns out this is a Jackson built in...
Weird guitar brands that have faded away... - The Gear Page
2019年1月10日 · Remember the Electra "MPC" Les Pauls with the plug in effects modules? I think Leslie West was a spokesman for a while. Why did they think including them in the guitar rather than in floor pedals was a good idea?
What can you tell me about Lotus Les Pauls? - The Gear Page
2007年10月2日 · About a year ago (or maybe more) I was in a real Marc Bolan/T Rex phase, and I came across a Lotus Les Paul copy in my local Sam Ash used for $199. Like the idiot I am, I played it, and it played and sounded good, so I bought it. Well, that did not sit well with my folks, who made me take it back a few days later.
Japanese Les Pauls - The Gear Page
2023年1月28日 · Everything about those bolt on MiJ Les Paul copies was designed to hit a very low price point that would make them affordable to beginners who wanted a guitar that looked like a Les Paul because their heroes played one. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, and they were perfectly good guitars for the money in their day.
Need help identifying this guitar - The Gear Page
2021年5月16日 · My favorite were the Electra guitars, specifically the MPC models. I owned several of them and still do. In the '70's I owned a Les Paul Custom Deluxe in wine red, a silverburst collectors edition flying V, a black beauty Les Paul Custom, a '65 SG, and an Electra Vulcan X930. The guitar I played the most was the Vulcan. It was simply better.
What are your experiences with those early 70s Japanese Les Paul ...
2015年6月3日 · My first electric was a "memphis" black Les Paul...Heavy as a fatboy, but in hindsight was a good guitar that got me well on the right track. Think it was a package-deal with a small little amp. As was the case back then, a good "reel-to reel" tape deck provided a reasonable tube sound through headphones as well!
Best value Melodymaker/Les Paul Jr. style guitar?
2017年2月27日 · Don't forget the '59 Reissue Melody Maker. In spite of the finish (or lack thereof) it is a nice guitar. Fat neck, cool retro looks, good fretwork and a brash pickup that is somewhere between a P90 and a hot single coil. I think I bought mine for $400 is 2012 or so & love it...
Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul ... - The Gear …
2021年11月24日 · The 335 is a hollow body compared to a solid body Les Paul. I would get the Anniversary 60th Les Paul Standard V3. Sometimes hollow body's will feedback. Every guitar will sound different depending on the amp you are using or effects. I have a 335 reissue with the dot inlays. I got one because Johnny Rivers played one and boy could he rock out ...
