I never used tumblr during it's more pro-ed times, but I get the feeling that people from there just went to twitter, and basically treat anorexia like a big competition. Just, its terribly toxic, and basically invalidates anyone eating over 500 calories , anyone who doesnt exercise daily, and anyone who has goals over 100 lbs/approx 46 kilos .

2021年11月9日 · Tumblr was pretty amusing, and was my first encounter on ED communities besides forums(and oh boy what a love hate relationship I have with the big three). Much less toxic crap on tumblr. Probably because there's more space on posts to include kind warnings, and drama is easily filtered away. But my goodness was there SO much misinformation.

Edtwt is not scary or disgusting, it’s a bunch of mostly 14-18-year-olds venting and talking about their ED’s (yes there are older and unfortunately younger people on there but the majority is 14-18), and of course, there are those individuals who take it too far and do awful things but that’s just Twitter, in general, you can find that in any community, not just edtwt.
