2018年2月3日 · There were 7 NR rifle ewe licenses issued in CO this year in 6 hunt codes. One was drawn by the single NR that applied for it 2nd choice. The worst odds were 7 applicants for 1 tag. In total there were 21 first choice NR ewe applications for 7 licenses, so if you apply in CO you better be prepared to spend $2,200+.

2019年4月8日 · My wife drew a ewe permit in that unit in 2006 and was sad to see it have a die off. It's a nice area and had a good herd at the time. Several other units had big die offs at the same time that year. Bonner, East Fork, Upper Rock creek, and one other if I recall correctly.

2019年5月5日 · Shot a ram, ewe, and lamb on 1/22/23. I took care of all the meat immediately and had it on ice within 1-2 hours. There's definitely a difference in meat quality the lamb is great the ewe is fine but I can tell it's not the deer or elk in my freezer the ram is stronger but not terrible but really tough.

I picked up a ewe tag off the leftover list last year with 2 days left in the season . I was able to get it done by myself in a unit much further from Denver and much harder to access then S32 in about 29 hours purchase to tag punch. Sandbrew
